My name is Brandon – pronounced (bran-don) since there are a few different ways to say and spell my name. When I was a little kid, I asked my father to draw me a spaceship... My mind was blown as I watched him doodle a simple geometric shape with laser cannons and rocket engines. That little request opened my mind to the possibilities of creating something purely from your imagination. After that I was hooked.
Formally trained as a graphic designer, my work is inspired by post impressionistic painting, illustration, printmaking, and street art. I started my career as a in-house designer for a geospatial image analysis company (a mouthful I know) where I learned how to market products for specific audiences. After cutting my teeth for 4 years on all things technical marketing, I landed a Art Director position at GTB (formerly known as JWT/Team Detroit) working on the Ford account. There I honed my skills and climbed the ranks to Sr. AD and creative lead for the southwest US market region. After a few years, I moved over to the digital side of the game as a Sr. UI product designer creating engaging app experiences for brands like NordicTrack and ALTRA. All this time, I've been on a mission to learn all sides of the creative game from print, to TV, to web, and apps... When I'm in between doodles.
Drop me a line if you want to talk about making some cool stuff together.
